The Park City Board of Realtors
Philanthropic Foundation raised a record amount of $96,000 for the Peace House,
an abused women's shelter through the 13th Annual Luxury Home
Tour of Park City held this year at Deer Crest in Deer Valley. The donated funds directly benefit
individuals and families struggling to break free from abusive environments in
Wasatch and Summit counties and have been used to create and fund a new advocacy
program for children of domestic abuse. For the first time, mothers and children
will be a focus in case management and safety planning.
The Park City Board of Realtors Philanthropic Foundation is the largest
foundation contributor to the Peace House each year and its over 13 year annual
event now provides approximately 25 percent of the total operating budget for
the Peace House. |
