The Purpose

The mission of the Peace House Women's Shelter is to empower, support and offer safety to victims of domestic violence. The availability of our agency as a resource in the community increases the awareness of domestic violence and sexual assault. The Peace House Women's Shelter is committed to providing victims with up to 30 days of shelter, medical assistance, advocacy, and other resources that are available to them. All women and children leave our shelter with a safety plan for the prevention and awareness of further physical, emotional and / or sexual abuse.
